Short Courses in Relaxation and Meditation

Our ongoing Relaxation and Meditation course series teaches new skills and techniques for stress management, resiliency and wellbeing.

Our practical sessions can include:

  • Introduction to stress and how to manage stress with meditation and relaxation techniques
  • Different ways to meditate
  • Positivity / Mind-Body connection/ Attitude / Motivation
  • Visual imagery for peak performance and optimum wellness
  • Breathing techniques and exercises
  • Light stretches (which don't have staff sweat or need to be in gear other than their work clothes)
  • Self massage and how to integrate relaxation into your daily life.

Recent research into the benefits of meditation show that six weekly sessions of 20 minutes a day can reduce feelings of stress by more than 10 percent, as well as improve sleep quality. Click here to see research.
