International Women's Day programs for your workplace
International Women’s Day is a chance to invest in women, not just celebrate them. International Women’s Day is often marked with little more than a catered morning tea and an email. The organisations that do it well treat it as a genuine investment in the women in their workforce: their health, their leadership capability, and the conditions that let them perform at their best.

Holistic Services Group designs International Women’s Day programs for Australian workplaces, delivered onsite or via live webinar on 8 March, across the surrounding week, or throughout March, with virtual delivery available across Australia, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific. Meaningful workplace initiatives can support a broader focus on inclusion, connection and engagement. Gallup’s State of the Global Workplace 2024 research found that highly engaged business units experienced up to 51% lower employee turnover, depending on the organisation’s underlying turnover rate.
Who these programs are for
Programs suit whole organisations marking IWD, women’s networks and employee resource groups, women in or aspiring to leadership, and mixed-gender audiences where managers and colleagues want to better understand and support the women in their teams. Content can be tailored for different industries, team sizes, and cohorts, from early-career staff to senior leaders.

Why IWD programs matter for your organisation
Women’s health at work
Some women experience health challenges associated with menstruation, perimenopause and menopause that can affect energy, concentration and comfort at work, yet these experiences are often overlooked in workplace wellbeing programs. IWD is a natural moment to change that.
Women’s leadership and career development
Women remain underrepresented in senior leadership across many Australian industries. Programs that develop leadership capability, confidence and career clarity can support women’s progression while helping organisations strengthen their leadership pipelines.
Inclusive culture and psychological safety
Programs that acknowledge the specific experiences of women contribute to a broader culture of inclusion, where all employees feel able to perform without masking significant parts of their lives. Impact can be tracked through engagement surveys and post-program feedback.
Programs available for International Women’s Day
All programs are available as 45 or 60-minute lunch-and-learn sessions, 90-minute workshops, or half-day formats, onsite or via live webinar.
Women’s health: menstrual cycle and menopause
Helps participants understand the hormonal and physical changes across the menstrual cycle, perimenopause and menopause, and how these affect energy, mood, concentration and comfort at work, with evidence-informed management options. Participants leave able to recognise these life stages and apply practical strategies to maintain health and productivity.
Nutrition for women
Facilitated by a qualified clinical nutritionist, covering nutritional priorities for women across life stages and the role of nutrition in managing common women’s health conditions. Participants leave with actionable guidance they can apply immediately.
Women in leadership
For women in or aspiring to leadership roles. Explores navigating bias, building influence, managing competing demands and leading with authenticity, with practical research-based frameworks. Facilitated as an honest conversation rather than generic inspiration.
Women’s mental health
Explores mental health challenges that can affect women, including anxiety, depression, burnout and the pressures that can accompany work and caregiving responsibilities, plus practical peer-support skills. Available women-only or in a mixed-gender format. Part of HSG’s Men’s & Women’s Health Workshops.

Discover your inner spark: creativity and self-care
A facilitated experience combining creative activity with guided reflection to help participants reconnect with purpose, identity and self-worth. A restorative, memorable IWD experience that also builds genuine self-awareness and self-care skills.

How to design your IWD program
HSG works with you to choose the right focus for your workforce, adapting content and delivery to your industry, team size and cohorts. Mixed-gender delivery is a popular choice: sessions on women’s health, leadership and inclusive culture are equally relevant for the colleagues, managers and leaders who want to better understand and support the women in their teams. Holistic Services Group has delivered workplace wellbeing programs since 2003, with sessions led by specialist facilitators selected for their relevant health, leadership or wellbeing expertise.
What organisations are saying
We had Penny Barron onsite, and she gave a great session! She provided us insights and helped us to increase awareness of health issues that affect women and ways that we can implement and make healthy changes to our lifestyle.
