Women's Health Week programs for your workplace
Women’s Health Week can be more than a calendar acknowledgement. It can give the women in your team practical, credible health information in a format that feels safe, relevant and useful.
Jean Hailes Women’s Health Week is held every September, with a new theme each year encouraging women to take small, realistic steps towards their health. Holistic Services Group delivers tailored workplace sessions onsite across Australia and via live webinar.

Why women’s health deserves dedicated focus in the workplace
Women make up around half of the Australian workforce, and their wellbeing at work is shaped by health needs that are often left out of standard workplace programs. Mental health is one part of that picture.
- Mental health deserves attention: one in four Australian women aged 16 to 85 experienced a mental illness in the previous 12 months, based on 2020–2022 national data reported by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare in 2025.
Workplace health education can support awareness, confidence and informed help-seeking. It does not provide diagnosis or replace individual medical care.
A dedicated Women’s Health Week program gives your team practical information in a format that feels relevant and safe.
Programs available for Women’s Health Week
Programs are available as lunch-and-learn sessions, workshops, or half-day formats, onsite or via live webinar. HSG begins with a short consultation to understand your needs, then recommends and tailors the format and content with your team.

Participants leave with practical, evidence-informed dietary strategies they can use immediately.

How Women’s Health Week connects to the broader calendar
Women’s Health Week sits within the broader span of women’s health awareness across September and follows International Women’s Day in March, giving organisations a natural second touchpoint in the annual calendar. For those running an annual wellbeing program, HSG recommends scheduling dedicated women’s health programming on both International Women’s Day in March and Women’s Health Week in September, with additional touchpoints throughout the year as part of a broader Annual Wellbeing Program.
Holistic Services Group has delivered workplace wellbeing programs since 2003 and is trusted by more than 1,600 organisations. Sessions are led by specialist facilitators with qualifications relevant to the selected health topic.
What organisations are saying
We had Penny Barron onsite, and she gave a great session! She provided us insights and helped us to increase awareness of health issues that affect women and ways that we can implement and make healthy changes to our lifestyle.
Frequently asked questions
Women’s Health Week sessions are designed for women in your team, and can be run alongside general awareness content that’s open to all staff. Sessions can be tailored to whole teams, specific departments, or offered as opt-in sessions across the week.
We recommend booking by mid-August to secure your preferred facilitators, formats and schedule for early September. For a full-week program, contact HSG in July or early August to allow adequate planning time. Women’s health and nutrition programs are also available year-round as standalone sessions or as part of an Annual Wellbeing Program.
International Women’s Day on 8 March is primarily a cultural and leadership moment, with programs spanning women’s health, leadership and workplace inclusion. Women’s Health Week in September is a focused health education week, concentrating on physical health, nutrition and mental wellbeing. Together, they provide two strong touchpoints in the annual calendar.
Each session can be adapted for live online delivery, with interactive elements designed to support participation across distributed and hybrid teams.
HSG can report on attendance, participation and staff feedback, including how useful or relevant participants found each session. As part of a broader wellbeing program, sessions can also support confidence and awareness around the topics covered. We do not promise specific health or organisational outcomes from a single week of programming.
Women’s Health Week runs from 7 to 11 September 2026, coordinated by Jean Hailes for Women’s Health. The 2026 theme, “do it anyway”, encourages women to take small, realistic steps towards their health, and the week sits within a broader focus on women’s health across September.
