Corporate and workplace massage that helps your team feel cared for

When your people are under sustained pressure, a few minutes of genuine relief can do more than you might expect, both in how they feel and in how they see their employer. Corporate massage is one of the simplest, most visible ways to show staff you value them, and one of the most consistently requested wellbeing services Holistic Services Group offers.

Corporate massage, also called workplace massage, office massage or seated-chair massage, brings qualified massage therapists to your workplace or event. HSG offers seated-chair, table/remedial and roving desk massage across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra and regional Australia.

Workplace seated massage therapy session

Why workplace massage is worth the investment

Desk-based work can take a quiet, cumulative toll. Extended sitting, repetitive tasks and unsuitable workstation setups may contribute to muscular tension, physical discomfort and reduced concentration over time.

Body stressing is the most common mechanism associated with serious workers’ compensation claims in Australia, accounting for 34.5% of serious claims in 2023–24, according to
Safe Work Australia’s Key Work Health and Safety Statistics 2025.
Musculoskeletal disorders also account for 52% of serious workers’ compensation claims in NSW, with an average serious claim costing $64,759 and resulting in 20 weeks of lost work time, according to
SafeWork NSW’s Musculoskeletal Disorder Prevention Plan 2024–2026.

Corporate massage does not replace ergonomic risk controls or clinical treatment. It offers employees convenient, short-term relief from everyday muscular tension while providing a visible and accessible sign that their wellbeing matters.

Who this is for

Corporate massage suits desk-based and hybrid teams carrying everyday physical tension, whole organisations marking a wellbeing day, and staff attending conferences, expos, product launches and end-of-year events. It also suits high-pressure teams wanting regular, easy-to-access relief between projects.

Choose your workplace massage format: seated-chair, table/remedial or roving desk massage

Qualified massage therapists come to your workplace with everything they need. Choose the format that best suits your team, space and schedule:

  • Seated or chair massage: 5–30-minute treatments, delivered fully clothed and without oil, in an ergonomic chair with minimal space and set-up required.
  • Table or remedial massage: 20–60-minute treatments, generally delivered in a private room using a massage table.
  • Roving or desk massage: brief treatments delivered at employees’ desks or workstations, allowing the therapist to move through the workplace.

A typical visit runs as a half-day or full-day of back-to-back sessions, and an optional online booking system lets staff reserve their own time slot. An enhanced experience can include calming music, optional aromatherapy and post-session feedback reporting, subject to workplace requirements and individual sensitivities. Sessions are arranged to protect participant comfort and privacy, and every treatment is adapted to the individual’s preferences and consent.

Outcomes you can expect

After each visit, HSG can report on participation and staff feedback, and sessions are typically booked back-to-back with strong repeat demand.

Over time, regular massage can support staff morale, engagement and retention, ease the physical discomfort of desk-based work, and give teams a visible signal that their wellbeing is taken seriously. It pairs naturally with ergonomic assessments for teams wanting to address the causes of desk-based strain as well as the symptoms.

Frequently asked questions

Corporate massage gives employees convenient access to short, fully clothed treatments during the working day. It can provide temporary relief from everyday muscular tension, encourage participation in workplace wellbeing and demonstrate visible organisational care.

It should be viewed as a complementary wellbeing service rather than a substitute for ergonomic assessment, clinical treatment or workplace risk controls.

HSG offers three onsite formats. Seated or chair massage provides 5–30-minute treatments that are fully clothed, use no oil and require minimal set-up. Table or remedial massage provides longer 20–60-minute treatments and generally requires a private room. Roving or desk massage brings brief treatments directly to employees at their workstations. We can recommend the right format or combination for your headcount, available space and event goals.

Yes. HSG delivers onsite massage across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra and regional centres nationally. Contact us to confirm availability for your location and dates.

Seated massage needs only a small, quiet area; table massage needs a private room. A typical visit runs as a half-day or full-day of back-to-back sessions, and an optional online booking system lets staff reserve their own slot, so you simply provide the space and we manage the rest.

Yes. Sessions are delivered by qualified, insured and experienced massage therapists who work professionally and discreetly in a workplace setting.

A one-off session works well as a treat or an event activation. For wellbeing and retention benefits, most clients book regular, ongoing visits (often monthly), which is why a large share of HSG massage clients are on continuing arrangements.

Seated massage can be delivered in a small quiet area, screened space or private room, depending on your workplace. Participants remain fully clothed, and therapists confirm comfort, consent and treatment preferences before each session.
