Corporate Pilates classes that build strength and focus at work

Long hours at a desk can leave people feeling stiff, underactive and ready for a physical reset. A regular corporate Pilates class gives your team a low-impact way to build core strength, improve mobility and move with greater awareness — through sessions scaled for beginners and experienced participants alike.

Corporate Pilates is instructor-led group Pilates delivered at your workplace or live online. HSG’s qualified instructors run mat-based and chair-based classes focused on core strength, movement control, mobility and flexibility, tailored for beginners through to experienced participants. HSG has delivered workplace wellbeing services since 2003, with classes onsite in Australian capital cities and many regional locations, and live online nationwide.

Why Pilates suits desk-based teams

Desk-based work can leave people feeling stiff, underactive and ready for a physical reset. Workplace Pilates gives teams an accessible, low-impact way to introduce controlled movement and strength work during the working week.

These figures span all industries, and Pilates is not a treatment or an injury-prevention guarantee. What it offers desk-based and hybrid teams is a practical, low-impact way to build the core strength, mobility and movement habits that support comfortable, capable movement at work.

Who this is for

Corporate Pilates suits desk-based and hybrid teams, whole organisations marking a wellbeing day, and teams wanting a regular, low-impact movement rhythm. Classes are scaled for all levels, and chair-based options make sessions accessible to people with varying mobility and fitness levels.

What the service involves

Qualified instructors run classes at your workplace or online, typically 30 to 45 minutes, scheduled before work, at lunchtime or in the afternoon. Mat classes need only a little floor space and mats; chair-based classes need no equipment at all. You can book a one-off taster, a wellbeing-day session, or an ongoing block, for example a six-week program, that lets participants build over time.

Workplace Pilates options

Mat Pilates

Core strength and flexibility on the floor. Best for teams with floor space, comfortable getting up and down.
Setup: Mats and open space

Chair Pilates

Controlled movement from a chair. Best for mixed-mobility teams, office settings or space-limited workplaces.
Setup: Chairs only — no equipment

Online Pilates

Live virtual classes for hybrid or remote teams. Everyone can join the same session wherever they are.
Setup: Internet-connected device and a safe space to move

Six-week block

A regular weekly program that lets participants build strength and habit over time. Best for teams wanting progression.
Setup: Same as chosen format above

Outcomes you can expect

After each class, HSG can report on participation and staff feedback, and ongoing blocks give participants more opportunity to practise, build familiarity and establish a regular movement routine. By the end of a class, participants will have worked on core strength and mobility and picked up movements they can repeat at home.

Over time, regular Pilates can support core strength, posture, flexibility and general wellbeing, help counter the physical effects of sedentary work, and give teams a positive shared routine. It pairs naturally with other physical wellbeing services for a rounded program, and can also form part of HSG’s broader corporate health programs.

What clients say

Andrea conducted our first of the 6 week block yesterday – 45 minute Pilates session. She found the perfect balance of enough of a challenge for the more experienced and not too much for the beginner. Thank you HSG and we look forward to the rest of the 6 weeks with Andrea.
