Workplace health assessments that build early health awareness
Most of your team are too busy to think about their own health until something forces them to. Workplace health assessments bring qualified practitioners to your people for a short, confidential, personalised check-in, an easy and high-value way to show staff you care while giving each participant practical guidance relevant to their own circumstances.
Workplace health assessments, also known as workplace health checks, are confidential, individual consultations where a qualified practitioner reviews one aspect of an employee’s health and gives personalised, practical guidance. These are practical wellbeing consultations, not diagnostic medical screenings, and they complement rather than replace an employee’s own healthcare. Holistic Services Group has delivered nutritional, sleep, healthy lifestyle, physiotherapy, and osteopathy consultations across Australia since 2003, both on-site and online.

Why personalised health guidance matters at work
Health risks like fatigue and musculoskeletal strain often build quietly, long before they show up as sick days or reduced performance. A short, confidential consultation gives staff practical, personalised guidance while these issues are still manageable.
- Poor sleep is common and costly: nearly half of Australians (46%) say poor sleep is directly affecting their ability to work or study, according to the Sleep Health Foundation’s Australian Sleep Report 2025.
- Body stressing is the leading injury cause: body stressing, muscular strain from manual handling and repetitive, low-load movement, accounted for more than 50,000 serious workers’ compensation claims in Australia in 2023-24, over a third of all serious claims, per Safe Work Australia’s analysis of workplace injury causes.
For desk-based teams, this kind of physical strain is often compounded by long periods at a workstation, one of the areas a physiotherapy or osteopathy consultation can help address.
These consultations can support awareness and practical self-management. They do not diagnose illness, replace individual healthcare or substitute for workplace risk controls.
Who this is for
Workplace health assessments suit desk-based and hybrid teams, shift-working or fatigue-affected teams seeking practical sleep guidance, staff experiencing aches or postural strain, and whole organisations running a wellbeing day. They can serve as a one-off check-in or as an ongoing part of a wellbeing program, and each person’s results remain confidential to them.

What is involved, and choosing your consultations
A qualified practitioner meets each participant for a short, confidential one-on-one consultation, onsite at your workplace or online, typically 15 to 30 minutes per person. Depending on the focus, a consultation might review nutrition and eating habits, sleep quality and fatigue, general lifestyle, or posture and musculoskeletal health, and each person leaves with personalised, practical guidance they can act on. A typical visit lasts a half-day or full-day of back-to-back appointments, with an optional online booking system so staff can reserve a time slot. HSG delivers across every Australian capital and regional centres, and the mix of consultations is tailored to your team.

Rather than diagnosing or preventing specific conditions, these sessions provide accessible, confidential guidance that helps participants build awareness of their current health and decide on practical, informed next steps.
